Fitness is much more than a job to me – it’s my passion! I’ve been taking part in sports ever since I was a child, and this eventually led to me beginning bodybuilding at 19. I won my first junior competition, and then came third at the Czech nationals in 2005. Spurred on by this early success I continued training and competing, winning several more events, and eventually represented the Czech Republic at the IFBB European Championships.
It was during my bodybuilding career that I decided to take the knowledge and experience I had gained in training and transforming myself, and use them to become a professional personal trainer. I now have four years experience in the industry, and a long list of happy clients.
Working as part of the team at Soho Gyms in Manchester, my knowledge and enthusiasm continues to grow day-by-day and week-by-week as I refine my craft and strive to help others achieve goals they wouldn’t have previously thought possible. I do this by providing structured transformational fitness and well-being sessions.
To my mind, a personal trainer is a number of things: a coach who provides advice and guidance on exercise selection and technique; a training partner who offers encouragement and motivation; and a friend who listens and cares. I am committed to helping my clients be the best versions of themselves that they can be, whether they are professional sportspeople, regular gym enthusiasts, or people who have never even taken an exercise class before. Whatever the person and whatever the goal, I can guide my clients on their journey.
If you want more than a personal trainer, look no further.
Thank you,
Ales Bursa
